Quick Piano Bench Redo

My mom purchased this piano bench a few weeks after moving into her first home. She found it at a garage sale and decided to fix it up, paint it and use it as a cute end table in her brand-new living room. When she decided it was time for the bench to move on and offered it to me, I was eager to put my own creative spin on it. Let's take a look at the before picture:

After cleaning and prepping the piece, 2 coats of Benjamin Moore's Urbane Bronze was applied via HVLP paint sprayer. We love the rich, brown and gold tones in this graphite-based color. After letting the paint cure for 24 hours, a stencil design was applied to the bench top in BM's Dove White. The entire piece was finished in clear wax.

Let's take a look at the finished piece:

I love the unique look of the Urbane Bronze paired with the bright white stencil design. I'm sure this piano bench would fit nicely into a new home and now that this piece is part of our Purchase Locally collection, it should be able to do just that in the near future. An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment. I do believe that you need to publish more on this topic, it may not be a taboo subject but typically people do not speak about such issues. To the next! All the best!! gmail login email
