How To: Remove Dry Paint from Hardwood Floors

Here is a super quick and easy way to remove dry, old paint from your hardwood flooring.

Supplies Needed
Clean, Dry Rag

My home was built in 1920 and has seen quite a few paint color changes over the years, painting that maybe wasn't the tidiest of jobs.  I have quite a few paint splatters on my hardwood and over time have slowly been removing them.
All paint on your floors does not require such a harsh product to be used, sometimes just some rubbing alcohol on a rag will do the job, or even a baby or makeup remover wipe will work.

For older, or thicker paint spots this method works best.

**Please follow the directions on the back of the bottle and first use the product on an inconspicuous area of flooring to access its effects on your flooring and finishes.
